 Recognizing and Supporting Young DJs in the Upper West Region

It is time for the entertainment industry in the Upper West Region to give greater recognition and support to the young DJs who are working hard to build their careers.

Upcoming artists are often given opportunities through interviews, media appearances, and talent promotion, which help them grow their fan base and gain popularity. Unfortunately, many young DJs do not receive the same level of support. Most of them have to rely solely on their own efforts to promote themselves and develop their careers.

Even if they are not managed by professional agencies, they deserve to be recognized and appreciated for their talent and contribution to the entertainment industry. More platforms should be created to showcase their skills. Initiatives such as DJ competitions, talent showcases, and interview sessions—similar to the annual events organized by W FM—can encourage growth, increase participation, and inspire more young people to pursue DJing professionally.

This is simply my opinion and not an attempt to instruct or criticize anyone. I sincerely believe that by supporting and recognizing our young DJs today, we can help them reach their full potential. After all, no one knows what tomorrow holds, and today's rising talent could become tomorrow's stars.
